Position Summary | BCIT’s School of Computing and Academic Studies is seeking 2 temporary, full-time (1.0 FTE) and 1 temporary, part-time (0.75 FTE) Faculty, Computer Information Technology/Full-Stack Web Development. BCIT is education for a complex world. Embrace the complex world and help prepare the next generation of technology leaders to explore the opportunities within it. In BCIT’s Computer Systems Technology department, you will use your experience, your training, your passion for technology and your passion for teaching and mentoring to help our students learn to turn big challenges into new solutions. BCIT’s Computing department is seeking highly talented, motivated and qualified professionals ready for the next level and next challenge in their careers to be Instructors at our Burnaby and Downtown campus. These positions teach in the Full Stack Web Development (FSWD) and Computer Information Technology (CIT) programs. Candidates must have strong communication skills, and will be required to assume responsibilities for curriculum development and academic leadership. Having teaching or mentoring experience is a prerequisite for this position. We offer full-time and part-time positions. |

COMPUTER INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY: The CIT program prepares student for work across in all areas of information technology with a focus on modern operations including DevOps. For this program, we are seeking applicants with skills and industry expertise in one or more of the following:
FULL STACK WEB DEVELOPMENT: The FWSD program is focused on equipping students to become competent front and backend web development. For this program, we are seeking applicants with skills and industry expertise in one or more of the following:

Salary Range | Salary Range: $63,150 - $110,238 per annum. |
Additional Salary Information | Salary prorated based on percentage and term of appointment. Salary based on education, experience and placement criteria as outlined in the Collective Agreement. |
