Position Summary | BCIT’s School of Energy is seeking a regular, full-time (1.0 FTE) BCGEU Faculty, Industrial Instrumentation.

Duties & Responsibilities | The department currently teaches all four levels of the Red Seal Instrumentation and Control Technician (Industrial Instrument Mechanic) Apprenticeship program, a two year Industrial Instrumentation Process and Control Technician diploma program, and custom-designed Industry Services training courses for corporate customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing instruction to students, preparing and presenting classroom lectures, laboratory projects, and examinations as assigned. The Instructor will also be responsible for upgrading and preparing lesson materials on an ongoing basis, as well as maintaining contact with industry to remain current in the industrial control field. This position may require shift work as defined in Article 14.1 of the Collective Agreement, and may require some travel. |

Salary Range | Salary Range: $75,857 - $112,432 per annum. |
Additional Salary Information | Salary prorated based on percentage and term of appointment. |
