Position Summary | BCIT’s School of Transportation is seeking temporary, part-time Faculty, Marine Engineering to instruct/facilitate Ship Construction, Naval Architecture, Drafting, Engineering Knowledge, Electrotechnology/High Voltage, Automation and Control, Applied Engineering Sciences and workshop courses. The ideal candidate will be able to bring industry experience into the classroom, develop course and program curriculum, deal with relevant operational and educational issues, and cultivate positive relationships with students. BCIT is one of Canada’s largest post-secondary institutes, with more than 45,000 students enrolled in certificate, diploma, apprenticeship and degree programs. The Marine Campus, conveniently located in North Vancouver, is a premier provider of marine training in Canada. Many instructors are marine engineers with worldwide and local experience, utilizing their extensive skills to deliver a wide variety of marine engineering courses. |

Salary Range | $68.09 to $100.93 per contact hour, inclusive of vacation and holiday pay. |
Additional Salary Information | Salary prorated based on percentage and term of appointment. |
