BCIT’s School of Construction and the Environment is seeking a temporary, part-time (0.57 FTE) Faculty, Architectural Science. The Architectural Science Department is a part of a progressive and innovative technology based baccalaureate degree program. The successful candidate must possess relevant architectural technology and design experience within the construction industry and will be expected to deliver architectural design studios and complementary content in systems integration, project delivery and tectonics.

As the Instructor you will play the rewarding role of being the primary teaching professional in the classroom. You will be responsible for course preparation and delivery, typically a combination of lectures and applied studio assignments, and other course-related duties, such as marking and course record-keeping. Most importantly, you will work directly with students in the class room to support their learning, often by giving them practical assistance in their academic work.

Salary prorated based on percentage and term of appointment. Salary based on education, experience and placement criteria as outlined in the Collective Agreement.
